Parents here are some tips to keep your child
healthy.
Your child should warm up to an activity by gradually raising his or her heart rate. You can do this by using the large muscles of the lower body, for example walking, bicycling, or marching in place. The next thing to do is to stretch the muscles and put the muscles through the movements they will be doing. This should last about five to ten minutes.
It is a good idea to include exercise and physical activity in their life. This will give them more energy, stronger bones and muscles, and they'll sleep better. Many diseases are related to bone and muscle loss. By performing light resistance exercises two times per week, you may greatly reduce their chances of developing these diseases and may actually reverse the effects. Resistance exercise is simply the process of working your body against a resistance. This can include push ups, abdominal crunches, or using objects such as soup cans, dumbbells, or elastic tubing. Whatever method you choose, the result is the same. Your muscles and bones become stronger and less susceptible to certain health problems. You're never too old to begin a regime of resistance exercise. So you can do it along with your kids.
Teach your kids effective ways to manage stress. Make them realize that stress is not always bad. It's the way you deal with it that matters.
